Social Security

One of the biggest questions most Americans should be asking is, "How secure is my future?" The Social Security Act was developed in 1935 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This Act was created during the Great Depression to help the American citizens get back on their feet and fight unemployment, but now is a program for the retired and disabled.

With the number of baby boomer's this nation has coming to the age of retirement, we as a nation are not financially prepared to provide this program for that generation. Throughout the past few decades, no money was being put aside to finance this program when it needed it the most.

The YoYo Party would like to be able to provide this program for all generations to come to ensure a secure future. Along with preparing for the generations to come, we must prepare for a longer life expectancy as well. To solve this issue, we all must start contributing to this program. Deducting a small portion from each workers paycheck will ensure a secure future for all working Americans. If all citizens are contributing to their families future and other, then there will be enough money to help out the citizens of our nation as they continue to grow older. The stress of a secure future ends here!
